8:30 am – 8:50 am: OPENING CEREMONY – Announcements-Nat. Anthem
8:50 am – 9:00 am: 10 Minutes of practice ( SHORT PATTERN)
9:00 am – 12:30 pm: 4 GAMES Qualifying – Short pattern
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: BREAK – re-oil lanes – results after 4 posted
1:30 pm – 2:00 pm: CHECK IN bowlers – lane assignments
2:00 pm – 2:10 pm: 10 Minutes of practice ( MEDIUM PATTERN)
2:15 pm – 6:00 pm: 4 GAMES Qualifying – Medium pattern
DAY ONE DONE: BOWLERS COME BACK ON SUNDAY FOR CHECK – IN.

CUT WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: (ALL BOWLERS ADVANCING WILL RECEIVE SMART SCHOLARSHIP
U18 : Top 8 – 1 seed vs. 8 seed, 2 seed vs. 7 seed, 3 seed vs. 6 seed, 4 seed vs. 5 seed.
U15: Top 6 – 1 seed vs. 6 seed, 2 seed vs. 5 seed, 3 seed vs. 4 seed.
U12 and U20 : Top 4 – 1 seed vs. 4 seed, 2 seed vs. 3 seed
WE WILL NOT RE-OIL AFTER 4 GAMES OF QUALIFYING.
1:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Lane assignments and semi – finals set up.
1:30 pm – 1:40 pm : 10 Minutes of practice
1:45 PM – 3:00 PM: 2 GAMES – TOTAL PIN FALL – WILL ADVANCE TO FINALS
Cut is as follows:
U18: Top 4 – stepladder 1 game elimination
U15: Top 3 – stepladder 1 game elimination
U12 and U20 : Top 2 – 1 game elimination
3:00 pm – 3:15 pm : Awards and photos for scholarship winners eliminated.
3:15 pm – 3:30 pm : Lane assignments and Final round set up.
3:30 pm – 3:35 pm: 5 minutes of practice
3:40 pm – 4:30 pm: 1 game elimination PBA Style.
*** next in line bowlers will start practice on a practice pair of lanes at start of 6th frame ***
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Award Ceremony- Photos

WHAT IS A GLJGT MEMBERSHIP?
Bowlers can choose to bowl as a GLJGT MEMBER (lower entry cost + perks) or a GLJGT NON-MEMBER (higher entry cost) for the 2023-2024 season. This membership is a separate cost ($30.00) and is not included in the entry fee. This is an opportunity to become a member of Great Lakes Jr. Gold Tour and is not to be confused with a USBC Jr. Gold Membership. If you become a member you will be able to enter our tournaments at a lower cost. If you bowl more than 2 tournaments then the membership will pay for itself in savings. We will produce a member card, and hand this to you at the event.

WHAT IS A USBC JUNIOR GOLD MEMBERSHIP?
In order to compete for the Jr. Gold Spot (Nationals) TBD, you must have a current 2023-2024 USBC Jr. Gold Membership ( which is an upgraded version of your USBC Standard membership-USBC rules). This is a separate purchase cost and is not included in your entry fee. This membership is an annual cost and is good until July 31 2024. You have the option to purchase it here or print a copy and bring it to the tournament at check in or fill the printable form out and send it to USBC.

ARE YOU COMPETING FOR A 2024 JUNIOR GOLD SPOT TO DETROIT MICHIGAN? WHAT IS A JUNIOR GOLD SPOT?
This option tells us if you would like to compete for a Jr. Gold Spot to the National Championships in DETROIT MICHIGAN or if you are already qualified for Gold (AQ), or if you don’t want to compete for the Jr. Gold Spot in 2024 (N). This event is a Jr. Gold Qualifier: There is a separate cost for the option to bowl for a Jr. Gold Spot and is not included with your entry fee:
U12 Jr. Gold option 1:4 ratio-$25.00
U15 Jr. Gold option 1:4 ratio-$37.50
U18 Jr. Gold option 1:5 ratio-$40

JUNIOR GOLD NATIONALS IS HELD ONCE A YEAR IN JULY – IT IS A WEEK LONG EVENT FOR BOWLERS TO COMPETE FOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE A PART OF TEAM USA ! (SEE BOWL.COM FOR MORE INFORMATION). COLLEGE COACHES WILL ALSO BE AT JUNIOR GOLD SCOUTING FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS ROSTERS. PRO BOWLERS WILL ALSO BE THERE FOR AUTOGRAPH OPPORTUNITIES AND SEVERAL BOWLING ASSESSORIES VENDERS WILL BE THERE DISPLAYING THE NEWEST PRODUCTS. THIS IS AN EVENT PARENTS AND BOWLERS DO NOT WANT TO MISS. QUALIFY FOR YOUR JUNIOR GOLD SPOT TO GO TO THE NATIONALS THROUGH OUR TOURNAMENT COMPETITIONS.
Note: you do not need to bowl for a gold spot in any of our tournaments to compete for Scholarship and awards only. Our tournaments are open to any bowlers who want to compete with or without bowling for a Jr. Gold Spot.
